It’s likely you know what a headshot photo session looks like, but do you know what a branding photo session involves?
A headshot photo session consists of one or more people. It can be taken outdoors, office space, or studio with a backdrop. The headshot photo is typically a close-up photo, sometimes my client will ask to have a half-body or full-body headshot. The person is smiling and looking directly at the camera. This type of photo is typically used as a social media profile picture or for a job application.
A branding photo session, on the other hand, is so much more than a headshot photo session. I like to describe branding photography as a business lifestyle photography session. Branding photos are perfect if you own a business because the photos paint a picture of who you are, what you do, who you serve, and your brand stories. All of these are very important to build your know, like, and trust with your ideal audience.
Branding photoshoots can be done in any location of your choice. Typically in a location with furniture and props and can include more than one person. You could look away from the camera, interact with your team, work on your laptop, or throw confetti! How fun is that?!
