Hi, my name is Charissa (pronounced “Karissa”).

After working 11 years in the corporate world as a software test engineer and the 3-hour daily commute, I was burned out. I miss doing something creative! I knew I had to leave the job to pursue something that is more meaningful. In 2018, I decided to start my photography business and it has been an amazing journey!

I see a photograph as a story unfolding; it brings out people’s personalities and emotions. You have a story to tell, whether your need a professional headshot to create a strong first impression so you can land your dream career or to develop your business or personal brand.

As a wife and mom of 2 children, many of you are probably like me — running between home and business, juggling calendars, and taking care of your family. I'm here to tell you that you are doing an amazing job! I'm here to support you and cheer you on.

When I'm not working, I love spending time with my husband and my children. We love to bake, play board games, and watching Disney movies together.

I’m based in Bergen County, New Jersey. I work with clients throughout northern & central NJ as well as Rockland County, NY.
