2025 Year-End-Review

As I sit down with my second coffee of the day and my favorite Christmas playlist in the background, I can’t help but reflect on the past year with a full heart. I’m so grateful—grateful for my family and our health, for my friends, and for my incredible clients and community. Your support and encouragement truly mean the world to me.

I’m also thankful for the collaborations and wonderful people I’ve met this year. Everyone has an incredible story behind why they started their business. Some started because of a tragic loss, some got laid off, and others finally took the leap and followed their heart.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: you’ll never feel 100% ready. But when you start something you’re passionate about, momentum will follow. And when you find a supportive community, you realize you never have to do it alone. (A reminder I’m giving myself, too!)

Photography Project Highlights:

• Headshots & Branding Photo Sessions
  • This year brought me so much joy working with individual and corporate clients across different industries, including dental, wellness, public speaking, law, finance, technology, coaching, and more.
• Extended Family Session of 13 people!
  • One of the sweetest sessions of the year was a birthday surprise from three sisters who planned a portrait session for their mom. It was so special to capture that love! Read the full story here.
• Event Photography
  • Your Strategy Reset Event – I had the priviledge to photograph this powerful one-day immersive event helping purpose-driven women step out of overwhelm, find clarity, and walk away with an actionable plan tailored to their lives.
  • Threaded Together Event – I will never forget this meaningful embroidery fundraiser supporting women who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss.

Things I’m Proud Of:

• I hosted several Canva workshops this year after getting so many requests for help. Hearing how useful they’ve been for attendees fills me with joy. I look forward to hosting more. Sign up for my email list to be in the know and get a FREE wardrobe guide.
• I had a great year hosting our monthly Women Business Owners Meetup with Andrea Pass Public Relations. We met so many amazing women business owners and women in business. We hosted many memorable events, from the Wellness Events at Rock Collage and a fun workout at Pure Barre Park Ridge, to our Holiday Celebration at Harmony Tea Room. Client Celebrations:

It’s been amazing watching my clients step into new seasons of growth—launching businesses, rebranding, and sharing their stories with the world. Here are just a few wins from my clients!

• Michelle Perchuk (MTV Coaching) was featured on many platforms, including the NASDAQ billboard in New York City and ELLE Colombia.
• Leann Frank (Simple Rabbit Co) was featured in Pascack Valley City Lifestyle magazine.
• Tom Hardin’s book, Wired on Wall Street, will be published on February 25, 2026. Pre-order is available now.

Lessons Learned:

• “Document, don’t create” – a powerful takeaway from You Are The Brand Academy hosted by Mike Kim and Robby Fowler. This tip has saved me so much time in my content creation.
• My instincts have a way of guiding me exactly where I need to go.
• It’s ok to ask for help… It’s still a work in progress but I’m getting better.

Looking Ahead to 2026:

• I’m celebrating 8 years in business this March! It feels wild to think it’s been nearly eight years since I left my corporate job as a software test engineer. What a journey it’s been!
• I look forward to grow our Meetup community and continue to work with some of the most inspiring and hard working business owners and individuals in the tri-state area.
• My 2026 services will now include:
  • Personal Branding Session for service-based businesses.
  • Headshot Session for individuals, teams, and corporations.
  • Event Photography such as Navjote, milestone birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, workshops, retreats, galas, conferences, and more.
  • Canva Training & Design Service to help you set up, organize, and create on-brand marketing content.
  • HoneyBook Setup and Support. My tech-loving, computer-science side is ready to help you streamline and save time!
