“I don’t have a product. What type of pictures should I post on my social media?” – A service-based business owner.
I get this question a lot when I work with service-based business owners. Most of them only focus on headshot pictures but there are many types of pictures you can post to build your brand online, even if you don’t have a physical product to show.
Here are 10 branding photo ideas for service-based businesses.
💡 Introduction post – Introduce yourself to your audience with a professional headshot or a lifestyle branding picture of yourself.
💡 Your process – Share how people can bok your services and work with you using a picture of you working, talking on the phone/conference call, or working with a client.
💡 Your why – Share a picture of something or someone that inspired you to do what you do.
💡 Team member highlight – Share a picture of your team members with a little story about them.
💡 Your tools – Share a picture of what you use in your business, such as a laptop, tablet, worksheet, phone, podcast microphone, etc.
💡 Upcoming launch/New services – Share a picture of you feeling excited, a graphic of your new services, or a picture of you working on your computer.
💡 Testimonial – Share your client testimonial along with a picture of your client’s headshot (with their approval), pictures of their transformation, or a graphic of your client’s testimonial.
💡 Day in the life – Share a picture of you sipping coffee, getting your kids ready for school, exercising, cooking, reading, etc.
💡 Interest/hobby – Share a picture of you reading your favorite book, gardening, listening to music, etc.
💡 Family life – Share a picture of you with your family hanging out or on a vacation.
