Meet my client, Rob DiGisi.
Rob is a sports business expert, consultant, professional speaker, and the founder and president of Iron Horse Marketing. He brings decades of experience to help his clients shape strategy, generate revenue, build strong brands, and deliver breakthrough sports marketing solutions. He also serves as a sports management lecturer at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Rob first reached out to me after seeing fellow Wharton alumnus Tom Hardin’s personal branding photos on LinkedIn. He also suggested doing a group branding session along with two other Wharton alumni, and they ended up booking a session together on the same day.
From the beginning, Rob had a clear vision for his personal branding session. He wanted a variety of headshots and speaking photos that would reflect his professionalism and expertise—photos he could confidently use across his website and social media platforms.
During the planning phase, we mapped everything out intentionally to ensure that I capture everything he and the other alumni wanted efficiently. We reviewed their outfit selections (three distinct looks), discussed the overall feel they wanted to convey, and finalized the location for the photoshoot.
Rob secured a space where Wharton alumni regularly meet, which added a meaningful and credible backdrop to his session. A few weeks before the photo session, I met with him for a walkthrough, so we could plan the layout, lighting, and timing. This is an important planning step—it ensures a stress-free session.

When the day of the session arrived, everything came together seamlessly. Rob had about 15 people join as his audience and clients, which brought his vision to life in a powerful way.
We started with professional headshots using a clean white and gray backdrop. Then, we transitioned into speaking images with a live audience on stage—capturing him in his element. From there, we moved into smaller group interactions to showcase connection and engagement, and wrapped up with more casual, lifestyle images—seated moments, standing in front of a desk featuring beautiful pottery made by his son, and even a few outdoor headshots.
It was such a joy working with Rob and his community. Here’s what he had to say about his experience:
“Charissa is the consummate pro. Clear, proactive communication and a real effort to understand what each client needed, not just what was on a shot list. She adapted seamlessly to the unique dynamics of a small group of professional speakers, brought a fully mobile studio to us, and even completed a site visit in advance. The final images were thoughtfully finished and dialed in to meet some very specific requirements. Add to that a great attitude, always positive and easy to work with, and you’ve got a rare combination. I highly recommend Charissa for anyone with custom professional photography needs.”
