Meet my client, Paula McConnell.
Paula is the founder and CEO of Seva Digital. A digital marketing agency for wellness professionals. She has an M.B.A. and is a certified Design Thinking professional. She started this business after she saw one small business struggle because they didn’t have the right marketing and never wanted to see that happen again.
Paula and I met at a Fort Lee and Hackensack Chamber of Commerce joint event. We instantly clicked and had many great conversations. At one of the events, she told me that her own team advised her to get updated branding photos in order to build a stronger brand and that she was ready to do a branding photoshoot.
She shared that she is very nervous about doing the photoshoot. I assured her that we would plan everything together and I would guide her all the way.
During the planning, Paula was very clear about her brand, the outfits, and the images that she wanted. She’s also a big Anime fan so we incorporated her Anime toys and T-shirt in her branding shoot.
It was a cloudy day during Paula’s branding photo shoot, which is perfect for an outdoor shoot. We didn’t have to worry about the bright sunlight. We did some outdoor lifestyle headshots in downtown Hackensack, NJ. Then we headed over to Iconic Coffee, also in Hackensack, to do some indoor shoots of her working, doing her podcasts, chatting with a client, and more.
Thank you to Levar, the owner of Iconic Coffee, for letting us do the photoshoot at his amazing coffee shop. We enjoyed the amazing cup of matcha latte very much after the shoot and they have baked goods from Balthazar Bakery in Englewood, NJ. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you stop by Iconic Coffee.
