5 Ways to Use Your Branding Photos
Have you ever downloaded your pictures from your branding session, so excited to use them for your business, but quickly get overwhelmed? Questions start flooding your mind: Now what? Where can I use these images? What else can I do with them?
I totally get it! It’s a lot to think about when you have a library of images to use.
To get you started, here are 5 ways to use your branding photos:
1) Social media profile picture.
One of the ways to stand out online is by using a headshot picture of yourself on your social media profile. I recommend using the same profile picture on all of your social media platforms, so you are easily recognizable.
2) ‘About Me’ page on your website.
Your ‘About Me’ page doesn’t have to be boring. Those actions or lifestyle branding photos are a perfect way to show off what you do or how you can help your clients. Use 1 or use a few pictures throughout the page as well as your website.
3) Social media posts.
The more you show up consistently on social media, the more your audience will know about you, your business, and your process. This builds a relationship of confidence and trust in your brand. You can accomplish this by posting a picture of yourself, your brand, your team, or your home life (kids or pets).
4) Promotional graphics.
When designing your promotional graphics, use your branding photos. This will help you stand out and be more relatable. It’s much more engaging than using stock images. I recommend using programs such as Canva or Pixlr to design your graphics. They are very easy to use, even if you are not a designer. They offer templates that can be used to simply drop your pictures in and customize them to match your brand.
5) Blog post.
Choose the branding photos from your session that relate to the blog you are writing. This will capture your reader’s attention and help you show up as an authority.
