I started 2021 with a lot of uncertainty around my business because my kids were home. I decided to keep them home until the vaccines were available for adults.
I’m so thankful for my wonderful husband and biggest supporter. He took care of the kids while I went to my photoshoots.
By July, I sent my kids back to school. They were so happy and it brought me such joy to give them some sort of normalcy.
Even though I had more time to work on my business, the toll of doing too much for almost a year and not taking care of myself landed me in a mild depression. I noticed the signs because I had postpartum blues after my oldest daughter was born. So, I went to the doctor and got help.
I share this because my mental health is important to me If you are struggling with your mental health, know that you are not alone and help is available.
What I’m grateful for in 2021:
In 2022, I’m looking forward to continuing to grow, reflect, celebrate, meet new people virtually, and work on some amazing projects. Keep your eyes open for my Mini Branding Sessions Event in March 2022.
