How to Clean Your Camera Lens
After you take a picture, it shows up blurry and you notice there are fingerprints on the lens of the camera. That’s the worst, isn’t it?
One of the things I do to prepare for every photo shoot is to make sure I clean my lens to remove fingerprint smudges and dirt.
Cleaning your lens, not only creates a sharper and cleaner image but will also save you time during the editing process.
I highly recommend you do this for your camera or phone.
Follow these simple steps:
- Use lens & screen cleaning wipes or a clean machine washable microfiber cloth.
- Wipe your lens gently in a circular motion, starting from the center.
- If you see dirt or sand, do not wipe it, it’ll scratch the lens. Instead, point your lens toward the floor and use a hurricane blower to blow all around the lens to remove the specks of dirt. Then wipe the lens with a cleaning wipe or microfiber cloth.
