Meet my client, Sasha McDowell.

Sasha is the founder of Epicycle Group and an executive & leadership coach. She partners with leaders and teams to strengthen impact and collaboration by increasing leadership effectiveness, adopting open communication, and navigating conflict constructively.

Her clientele includes corporate and non-profit executives – VPs and C-level leaders, and their teams. She offers executive, leadership & career coaching; parental leave coaching; leadership development programming; women’s leadership initiatives; and team effectiveness coaching & facilitation.

Sasha reached out to book a personal branding session because she needed fresh, on-brand photos for her business to use across her website, social media, and other marketing platforms.

During our discovery call, she shared that she had worked with another photographer years ago; however, that experience left her feeling unheard, and she only liked a few images from the session. She also asked thoughtful questions to make sure I was the right photographer for her—and that this would be the right investment.

I loved that Sasha came to the call prepared and open about her vision. Asking questions and having honest conversations is such an important part of the process. When you feel comfortable with your photographer, it shows in your photos. And when you don’t, that discomfort can come through in your photos.

On the day of her session, we finalized a few outfits and gathered her props before getting started. I photographed her in an office-style setting, captured presentation-style images, and created a mix of professional and casual headshots. We changed outfits throughout the session to fully showcase her brand, professionalism, and her warm, joyful personality.

It was such a fun photoshoot—listening to her favorite playlist, chatting about family and life, and creating images that truly felt like her.
