Having school closures and social distancing due to COVID-19 is a big adjustment for all of us, especially for young children. I understand because I have 2 little ones to entertain and keeping them busy.
Here are the 3 things I’m doing with my children during the pandemic lockdown.
Activity #1: If you have family albums already printed and they have been sitting on the bookshelf or the coffee table, take them out and look at the albums together. Relive the memories you’ve made together. If you don’t have a recent album made, go to your computer and look at the last family pictures or vacation pictures together as a family. Oh and don’t forget to watch the family videos too! Those are always fun!
Activity #2: Did you say scrapbooking? Yes, scrapbooking is so easy and fun. Simply start by ordering a 12×12 album, scrapbooking accessories (for example, stickers, scrapbook papers, glitter pens, and don’t forget the mounting adhesives to tape your pictures.). Then order 20-30 prints from your recent family session or vacation pictures and have the prints ship to your house. I recommend Mpix to all my clients. Once you have everything, it’s time to start scrapbooking. You are making memories together while designing your beautiful album. Priceless!
Activity #3: Take pictures together. I bought a children’s camera for my daughter last Christmas and she loves it! She takes pictures of all of us and also random things around the house. Then I will go through the pictures with her, print them, and she gets to show off her art. You can do this at home or outside (your front or backyard). There are thousands of things you can take pictures of and then do a show and tell later. How fun is that!
I hope you like these activity ideas. Which one will you do? Comment below.
