Even though I have been focusing more on branding and headshot photography, I love it when I get to do a family session. That’s how I fell in love with photography in the first place.

My client reached out to me for a maternity shoot because she is pregnant with her second child. She wanted to capture this milestone with her husband and toddler son by doing a lifestyle maternity session at a park near her home with beautiful blooms. She wanted to focus on the connections of the family.

Since it’s nature, we have to wait patiently for the flowers to bloom on the cluster of trees at the park. She and her husband drove by the park every day to check the blooms. As soon as they saw the first bloom, she texted me and we set the date and time for her photoshoot.

It was a sunset photoshoot and the weather was perfect!

I got there early to check out the park, test out the lighting, and visualize where I would do the photoshoot to get the most out of the beautiful scenery.

My client and her family got there and were ready to have some fun. I guided them throughout the photoshoot. I captured some walking photos, hugging/interaction photos, sitting photos, and we even got some amazing photos of her son climbing on the trees with the beautiful flowers. Those are my favorites!
